I See You. I’ve Carried It Too.


For years, I worked in long-term care—supporting elderly populations and their families through one of life’s most overwhelming transitions.

And I saw something that broke my heart over and over: the women who became the caregivers.

The daughters managing their aging parent’s medical decisions while running their own households. The daughters-in-law stretched between their spouse’s family and their own. The women who somehow became responsible for everyone—their parents, their kids, their partners, their jobs—and were expected to do it all seamlessly.

I watched the mental load crush them.


The Overwhelm I Witnessed:

“I’m responsible for everything. My mom’s care, my kids’ schedules, my job, my marriage, my own sanity. Where do I even start?”

The Overwhelm I Carried:

As a single mom, I lived it. Every decision fell on me. Every responsibility landed on my shoulders. That weight was real, constant, and relentless.


I couldn’t fix the circumstances—the aging parents still needed care, the kids still needed raising, the work still needed doing.

But I could change how women process it all.

I discovered AI journaling: not as a replacement for real reflection, but as a thinking partner. A way to externalize the noise without judgment. To see what’s actually pulling your attention versus what’s just noise. To move from “I’m drowning” to “Here’s my one clear next step.”

That clarity changed everything.

That’s when Digital Wellness Journal was born.

I built the EOD System™ (Externalize, Organize, Design) specifically for women carrying impossible loads—caregivers, mothers, leaders, anyone responsible for holding things together.
